Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Booking Cancellation
- Before payment: Renters may cancel a booking freely if the reservation fee or security deposit has not yet been paid.
- After payment: Once the reservation fee or security deposit has been successfully received by TARA CSC Car Rentals, the booking becomes confirmed and cancellations may no longer be allowed.
- No-show: If a renter fails to appear at the agreed pickup location and time without prior notice, the booking may be considered a no-show and the payment may not be refundable.
- Road Steward cancellation: If the Road Steward (vehicle owner) cancels a confirmed booking, the renter will be notified immediately and may choose to either rebook another available vehicle or receive a full refund.
2. Refund Policy
- Full refund eligibility: A renter will receive a full refund if the vehicle owner cancels the booking or if the booked vehicle becomes unavailable.
- Refund method: Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used during checkout, such as GCash, bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other supported payment channels.
- Processing time: Refund processing may take approximately 1–5 business days depending on the payment provider and banking system.
- Non-refundable payments: Payments may not be refundable if the renter cancels after payment confirmation, violates booking terms, or fails to show up for the scheduled rental.
3. Security Deposits
- Some vehicles may require a security deposit before the rental begins.
- The deposit will be refunded after the vehicle has been inspected and verified to be in acceptable condition.
- Deductions may apply if the vehicle has damages, missing accessories, unpaid tolls, traffic violations, excessive cleaning requirements, or other additional charges.
- Security deposit refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days depending on the payment method used.
4. Booking Modifications
- Changes to pickup dates, return dates, or booking details are subject to vehicle availability and approval from the vehicle owner.
- Approved modifications may result in adjusted rental rates or additional charges.
5. Force Majeure
Unexpected events beyond reasonable control (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, accidents, power outages, or network disruptions) may affect bookings. In such situations, TARA CSC Car Rentals will work in good faith to provide fair solutions, which may include rebooking assistance or refunds where applicable.6. Contact Us
